If you are ever in the area
John Rodman hosts a great Memorial Day (on the Sunday before Memorial Day) which is essentially a music festival. Local bands show up and jam, everyone brings food to share, and basically a great time is had by all. Joe and I can't make it this year but here's a photo from last year:

We had also planned to attend but a close friend who has terminal cancer is having what we hope will not be her last birthday party on the same day. Perhaps next year.....
