Yes, that is a typewriter ...
Only in SF. My father in law, Auggie, and I ran across this guy at the Ferry Plaza. He writes poetry for tips. Our poem:
three generations later
the whole family goes
out to lunch because
while there may be
thousands of years
of Auggie Kennedy
though the harris
is the grandparent
in question and present
accounted for and more
than line, families
carry their pride
by continuing to
eat together by
visiting living
love and one of
the best things
we get Auggie is
a history, family
and a lifetime to
find out that what
we're made of is
us grown up and
older for knowing
it.
Hey - I didn't say he writes good poetry!
